RNG Performance Materials manufactures customized fire & heat proof covers suitable for various applications such as thermal insulation assemblies for industries, boiler covers, automotive engine thermal insulation, fire covers for EV Cars-Bikes, fire cover for lithium ion battery storage, transport covers for inflammable materials, fire curtains and many more.

• These covers can be made in single layer or multi-layer assembly.

• For 1000°C temperature resistance, generally a multi-layer assembly is used with the hot side layer being High Silica Fabrics & the outer cold side layer being Silicone Coated Fibreglass sandwiching an insulation layer of 5 to 25 mm thickness.

• For upto 550°C temperature resistance a multi-layer assembly is used consisting of both side Silicone Coated Fibreglass sandwiching an insulation layer of 5 mm thickness.

• Silicone Coated Fibreglass has been tested to 2 hour fire exposure tests and it does no burn, has no after-flame, no afterglow, no smoke, no debris or no holes on flame exposure and hence is used for fire curtains, fire proof covers and similar applications.

• Furthermore both Silicone & Fibreglass have excellent chemical resistance and thermal insulation properties.
